Los Angeles, CA — BREATHE California of Los Angeles County (BREATHE LA) has held three salons in its celebrated Green Salon Series and have three more scheduled. Sponsored by Union Bank of California, the series returns this month at the California Endowment with a special panel discussion on the green economy. WHAT – The BREATHE LA Green Salon Series is an open and public forum on clean air, the environment and healthy living. Each salon brings together some of the best and brightest minds on green issues and invites all community stakeholders to participate.
WHEN – Wednesday, September 16, 2009 @ 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
WHERE – The California Endowment, 1000 Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Parking is hosted; enter off of Main Street; 2 blocks from the Union Station Metro)
WHY – Engage expert panelists; Learn more about the green economy, greening the infrastructure and where the green jobs are.
FYI – All of the BREATHE LA Green Salons are free and open to the public. Coffee and a light breakfast are served. BREATHE California of Los Angeles County (BREATHE LA) is a non-profit, public benefit organization dedicated to clean air and healthy lungs in Los Angeles County. The BREATHE LA Green Salon Series, now in its second year of operation, engages all stakeholders around clean air, the environment and healthy living. An elected official delivers the welcome for each salon and a local journalist serves as moderator for panels of “green” experts.
