Coro Southern California Commends Robin Kramer for Her Legacy of Leadership in Los Angeles
The former Coro Southern California Executive Director and Board Chair has served “an honor roll of Los Angeles leaders”
LOS ANGELES, CA. Robin Kramer has been Chief of Staff to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa since his first day in office and will soon be stepping down. Her legacy of leadership in Los Angeles includes serving as Chief of Staff to former Councilmember Richard Alatorre and Mayor Richard Riordan, as well as a chief aide to the city’s foremost philanthropic and cultural leader, Eli Broad. In addition to this impressive background, Kramer has served as Executive Director of Coro Southern California and also Chair of its Board of Directors.
“Robin Kramer exemplifies what a leader should be in the public affairs arena,” said Coro Southern California Center for Civic Leadership President & CEO, Don Pierro. “Her commitment to making a difference and serving the common good is second to none. We wish her well as she takes inventory and spends time with her family. Her other family—the public family—eagerly awaits her return to service in whatever form that takes.”

Coro graduates are teachers, investment bankers, union leaders, corporate directors, activists, lawyers, journalists, and elected officials, among other professions. No matter where they work or what job titles they hold, they have learned how to challenge themselves and others to be more ethical and effective leaders. Coro runs programs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Kansas City and Cleveland. For more information, go to http://www.corola.org/.
